My Approach to Therapy
Integrative, flexible, and built on trust
My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based methods while being shaped flexibly around each client's individual needs. When helpful, I draw on different therapeutic traditions to guide an integrative process aligned with the client's goals.
Throughout the therapy process, I place the trusting relationship at the center; I work on building self-awareness, regulating emotions, and developing sustainable coping skills.

A Little About Me
Hello, I'm Gamze Akmeşe
After completing my psychology education, I earned a master's degree in psychology in South Korea, which gave me the chance to develop my expertise in an international setting. I bring my approach together by integrating contemporary methods such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and EMDR within an integrative framework.
I care about offering every client a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space, and about opening room together for change, awareness, and healing.
